So, the reason why all these, these words, are being said is the fact that none of these trees around here has been planted; I don\’t think so. That\’s the reason why it is being said. You see that on a branch of a tree I\’m just sitting on very pleasantly. Or there’re a number of trees, and there is a backwater because this is just behind the sea. So there\’s a backwater, and behind this there is flora and fauna, and there are a number of things. Do you think each of the trees has been planted? Do you think so? You know it is not. But its look is so immaculately designed.
So, what happens is, there\’s a water body here. Who took the water here, by the way? Did anyone design it? Did anyone create a—some huge—system down there to get the water from the sea to here? In fact there are houses, number of houses. There are palm trees all around here, and there are houses. How ‘this water’ has come up here? Surprising, isn\’t it? So this backwater has emerged from where? What about these trees? You see, when a very conducive environment is created around anything, whatever there is, everything is taken care of.
Essence of life
So the main thing in ‘understanding’ of the essence of life is to understand ‘you’ and only and only you, nothing else. Everything will be taken care of: your wealth, your finances, your desires, your pursuit of pleasures of any kind will be all taken care of if one that is ‘you’ is taken care of. And that is your job! And you are the only one responsible to seed it, to water it, to make sure it nurtures the most intrinsic nature of its own characteristics. That is its sublime beauty. All these that you see, that finds its place, no one could design by mind because it is not something that ‘mind’ can do. It is just, ‘happens to be’, in the right order.
So, here the water also represents the water within us because this body is also composed of, is made of, about 70% of water. So, just imagine if one component of this mechanism called ‘body’ is taken away from this body. So, if the life forces are to be nurtured and the life forces are nothing but the very seed of Grace and love and compassion, if Grace follows you in misery, the misery will turn into a bliss. You already are enlightened before you know it.
So, whenever you happen to see any perfect picture of anything, don\’t get dazzled. That\’s the moral of the story. Don\’t create a fantasy world around you because there\’s no fantasy. Don\’t create an ideal world around you. It is only the conceptual reality which one, ‘which it wants’ to present itself in a way that it feels fit. That\’s it. The way it considers itself, him, fit, it wants to present it to the world. It wants to represent itself in that way. That is it.
Grow in harmony with your own self
Create a conducive environment just to grow in harmony with your own self despite all the drama. Because people are just giving up their shadows, you know that? Those people who are troubling your life are the ones who are just giving off their shadows because they want to create a bigger picture of themselves or create a picture, whom they are not. Now, whom they vent out their anger on because there is a huge conflict between ‘who they are and what they present to the world’!. So if you happen to be nearby them, they will vent out their drama. They\’re just giving out their shadow, my friends. They\’re just giving out their shadow because there has to be a pour out of their emotions in some way or the other.
So, what is important here is that we, all of us, have shadow with us. And these shadow follow us at all times. But one thing that you can remind yourself of is ’none of the shadow’ is you. None of anything, whatever it is that you want to present to the world, is you.
So, you don\’t create a reflection of anything. You don\’t have to create a reflection apart from the one who you are.
Just be who you are. Everything will be taken care of, no matter where you reach in life.
